| Customer Reviews:
The PERFECT hoodie January 5, 2009 Thomas P. Mcfarland I have had this for about two years. It is the best hoodie I have ever owned. It is cotton-ey enough to be really soft and comfortable against your skin, durable, and have a little bit of protection against the wind; it is fleece-ey enough that it doesn't turn into a sopping mess with out any warmth if it is rained on a bit. The cut is perfect, the hood fits great, the pouch is nice and deep and things usually don't fall out, and best of all- there is a little zipper pocket in the pouch (why don't all hoodies have this? the pouch is great, but you'd be a fool to put your keys in there when active...) I spent four years trying to replace the hoodie I had before this one. Seriously, I did. Like I said earlier, you either understand the importance of a great hoodie of you don't. If you fall into the same category of people as I do, you have probably experienced the same frustration of finding a really nice hoodie. Here it is. I love this hoodie (I have never reviewed any other article of clothing) but should be clear about what it is not. It is not for "serious" outdoor use where you getting wet could actually mean dying from hypothermia. It is great for day trips, car camping, or as an evening thing to wear when backpacking. It is NOT one of those exotic fleeces that retains 4,000% of your body heat when wet, weights -12 grams, and costs $200 (I have some of those too, they are great for when I go backpacking for a week or two, but that is about the only time they leave my closet). That is about the only disclaimer I can think of, for the other 350 days each year, this is the best thing I own.
